Mr. McGowan died Jan. 30, 1995, at age 79.
He was born Oct. 8, 1915, in Sandwich, England, and immigrated to the United States in the 1920s.
On Sept. 4, 1937, he married Dora Gray.
He was a supervisor for Crome Plating Co. and worked in the lumber industry.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Joan Cooper of Amity and Janet Haugen of Newberg; sister, Ethel Hamrick of Seattle; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Disposition by cremation.
