OBITUARY: 

Spring Valley News: Albert Stratton, resident of Spring Valley, passed away Thursday evening at the Old Soldiers’ Home at Roseburg after a long illness. Mr Stratton was 84 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Clough-Huston chapel in Salem Tuesday afternoon. Mr Stratton leaves to survive him his widow, Mrs Ann Stratton; one daughter, Mrs Fred Owen, of Spring Valley, and four sons, Julian J. Stratton of Spring Valley, Dr Albert Stratton of Portland, Dr Alfred Stratton of South Dakota, and David Stratton of New York.
