OBITUARY: 

Albany – Ollie L. Shepard, 83, of 604 E 28th St, died Wednesday in an Albany hospital. A native of Missouri, she lived in Greeley, Colo, for 20 years before moving to Salem in 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of the People’s Church, Salem. Survivors include her daughters, Lee B. Chamberlain, Salem, Serena Mae Alexander, Portland, and Helen M. Harris, Tigard; son, Harold L., Albany; 11 grandchildren and nie great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:30 am tomorrow in Zena Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil T. Golden mortuary. The family suggests contributions to Salem Hospital Foundation’s cancer research fund, PO Box 14001, Salem, Ore 97309.
