Verna Martha Ragan, 62, of 5892 Angle Drive NE, died Tuesday in a Salem hospital following a long illness. She was born in Topeka, Kan, and came to Salem six years ago. Surviving are the widower Jess and son Michael of Salem; sister Vida M. Herber and brother Henry Moody of Pasadena. Services will be Wednesday at 3 pm at W.T. Rigdon chapel with interment at Zena Cemetery in Polk County.
