OBITUARY: 

SALEM (AP) - A Eugene, Ore., businessman - pilot and his fther are missing on a flight from Lewiston, Idaho to Eugene. They left Friday afternoon.
Feared down along the route are James L. Gilkey, 44, and Jesse S. Gilkey, 76, Dayton, Ore. They are reported to have left Lewiston only a few hours after they had arrived there on a business trip.
Taking part in a search Sunday were 22 planes from Salem, Springfield, Redmond, Pendelton and Bend. Ralph McGinnis, assitat aeronautics directore, said no reports had been recieved of the men landing enoute from Lewiston. The pilot owns Laurence-David, Inc., a Eugene wood putty firm. His father is a retired Oregon State Tax Commission appraiser.

Bodies Found By Foresters
Two Dayton Men Plane Victims
ESTACADA (Special) - The wreckage of an airplane and the bodies of tow ment were found by fresters Thursday in the Pinhead Butte area, 15 miles southeast of the Ripplebrook Ranger Station.
The two bodies were tentatively identified as James L. Gilkey, 44, Eugene, and his father Jsse, 76, Dayton. Their small plane had been missing since April 23 or 24.
The identification was made from the p;ersonal effects on the two bodies, according to Clackamas County Coronro Douglas Pratt. State Medical Examiner Russell Henry will make positive identifation of the bodies Friday morning.
The Mt. Hood Forest Service reported that a piece of the wing of an airplane, believed to be from a Bonanza, the kind of plane that the Gillkeys were flying, was spotted from the air Wednesday, and that a ground search had turned up other bits of wreckage, including a sweater and a camera, scattered over a large area.
The Gilkeys had been en route from Lewiston to Eugene April 23 when their plain was reported missing.
