Ruel E. Bradford, 64, long time Wheatland Ferry district farmer, died Thursday at a Salem hospital of an apparent heart attack. He suffered a stroke about two years ago. He was born in Iowa and came to this area in 1905. His farm was at Gervais Rt 1, Box 86. Surviving are the widow Eva; daughter Mrs Tom Fiscus of Gervais; sisters Mrs Irene Bradford of Salem and Miss Helen Bradford of Seattle, Wash; brothers Miles of Portland and Darrell T. of Salem; two grandchildren. Services are pending at Virgil T. Golden mortuary.
