Beatrice Pearl Akers
Feb. 8, 1913 - May 7, 1988
DALLAS – Beatrice Pearl Akers, 75, died Saturday in Salem.
She was born in Denver, Colo., and was a longtime Dallas resident. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and raising chickens. Her husband, J. R. Aker, died in 1987.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Kime of Salem, Yvonne Kraemer of Salem; sons, Robert of Dallas, Berle of Sublimity; sisters, Susan Noble of Auburn, Calif., Lois Lay of Roseville, Calif.; and brothers, Robert Johnson of Sacramento, and Wilbur Johnson of Redding, Calif.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zena Cemetery, Spring Valley. Visiting will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Barrick mortuary, Salem.
