Allester [sic; Allister], March 8, 1911-Aug. 18, 1990 Bernadine M. Allester, 79, of Salem died Saturday in Salem.  She was born in Bishop Hill, Ill. In 1968, she moved to Salem from Jerome, Idaho. She was a registered nurse at Salem Hospital for 15 years. She enjoyed camping and knitting. Survivors include her sons, Jimmie L. and Vance, both of Salem; daughters, Susan Morrison and Roxanna Allester, both of Salem; brothers, A.H. Goeckner of Milwaukie, Charlie Goeckner of Grangeville, Idaho, Ed Goeckner of Oakland, Calif, Ben Goeckner of Gooding, Idaho; sisters, Amelia Haener and Gertrude Wagner, both of Grangeville, and Emma Wolford of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren.  Memorial services will begin at 1 pm Wednesday in Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. Private inurnment will be in Brown Cemetery, Dallas. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
