OBITUARY:
Brooks, Jan. 14 – Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Turner, Monmouth native and longtime Airlie resident who died yesterday at Brooks, will be 2 pm Thursday in Bollman Funeral Home, Dallas, the Rev John E. Rittermeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Lewisville cemetery. Turner, son of William McDonald and Mary Jane Waters Turner, was born Nov 10, 1880, at Monmouth. He had been a Brooks area farmer the past five years. He leaves his widow, Mrs Nettie Turner, Brooks, and one brother, Troy Turner, Monmouth.

Andrew Jackson Turner, 77, resident of Airlie for many years before going to Rt 1, Gervais, about five years ago, died at the Books Nursing home Monday. Funeral services will be at the Bollman Funeral chapel today (Thursday) at 2 pm with Rev John E. Rittermeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Lewisville cemetery, Monmouth. He was born November 10, 1880, near Monmouth, son of Mr and Mrs William McDonald Turner. He was married to Nettie Roselle, who survives him. Also surviving is a brother, Troy Turner of Monmouth, and nieces and nephews.
