OBITUARY:
Robert Ritz, Dec. 31, 1930-July 26, 1997
Robert Theodore Ritz of Monmouth died July 26 in Salem. He was 66. He was born in Woodland, Calif, to Theodore and Rosa Maibach Ritz. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. A resident of Salem since 1961, he settled in Monmouth a few years later. He was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Myrna; sons, Cory of Farmington, Utah; Casey of Keyser, W. Va.; Loren of Provo, Utah, Eric of Phoenix, Ariz, and Jason of Monmouth; a daughter, Alisa Hart of Provo, Utah; a brother, George Ritz of Monmouth; a sister, Genevieve Thomas of Spanish Fork, Utah; and 11 grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, July 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Monmouth. Farnstrom Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
