OBITUARY: 
Lydia Lewis, 98, of 664 SE Jefferson Street, Dallas, died Saturday morning, May 15, at her home. She was born in Amity, the daughter of John and Anna Aebi on Oct 28, 1884. She married Claude Lewis in Lewisville. She resided in Amity and Lewisville before moving to Dallas in the 1930s. She was employed as a cook and was a member of the Dallas Evangelical Church of North America. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, and one son James Lewis. Surviving are one daughter, Leone Thiesies of Sheridan; one brother, Harry Aebi of Santa Cruz, Calif; two grandsons and two great-grandsons. Services were held 2 pm, Tuesday, May 18, at the Bollman Funeral Home with the Rev Dan Rowell officiating. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery, Monmouth.
