OBITUARY: 
Emma Marks Orsborn, 65, passed away at the home of her brother, Chris C. Marks, Monmouth, late Wednesday afternoon after suffering a stroke. Mrs Orsborn was stricken about 4:10 and passed away about half an hour later. She was a native Oregonian, being born at Garden Home, September 17, 1870,and later moving with her family to Astoria where she spent her girlhood. She was married there in 1891 to Clinton P. Chamberlain and to this union six children were born. They lived for 13 years in Yamhill county, going back to Astoria where he passed away February 1913. She was married to Thomas Orsborn at Dallas April 14, 1915. Mr Orsborn passed away November 17, 1926. Following the death of Mrs Chris Marks in 1929 she went to Monmouth to keep house for her brother, where she was living when she was called. Mrs Orsborn is survived by three daughters, Mrs Mabel Seufert of Neskowin, Mrs Ethel Hall of Oroville, Cal, and Mrs Lillian Rose of Gervais; two sons, Joseph F. and James C. Chamberlain of Dallas; a sister, Mrs Lizzie Orsborn, Monmouth; five brothers, C.C. Marks and C.T. Marks of Monmouth, C.F. Marks of St Louis, Ore, W.E. Marks of Sheridan and Albert of Canby, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the Keeney funeral home with Rev W.A. Elkins officiating.
