1930 OR CENSUS - Sarah Ronco, age 75, widowed, b. Wisconsin, is enumerated as the mother-in-law in the home of Charles McDowell, age 49, occupation grocer, and his wife Emma O., age 43, b. Oregon, along with children J. Paul, age 23, b. Oregon, Walter F., age 17, b. Oregon, Scott L., age 10, b. Oregon, and Roy M., age 8, b. Oregon.

OBITUARY: 
Funeral services for Mrs Sarah Catherine Ronco, 87, former resident of the Fir Grove district, who passed away Sunday at the Deaconess hospital in Salem, were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Henkle & Bollman chapel in Dallas. Burial was in the McAllister cemetery. Mrs Ronce was born in Rome, Wisc, in 1854, and married Paul Ronco in 1879. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs Emma McDowell, Newberg, Mrs Mary McNeal, Tacoma, Wn, and Mrs Lucy Tucker, Bremerton, Wn; two sons, Albert Ronco of the Fir Grove community and John Ronco who resides in Washington, and one step-daughter, Della Ryan of Salem. She also leaves two brothers, two half-brothers and a half-sister. There are 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren surviving.
