OBITUARY: 
Daniel Waterhouse, 26, of Falls City died at Falls City last Wednesday after an extended illness. He had lived in Polk county all of his life. 
Funeral services were held in the Henkle and Bollman chapel at 2 pm Saturday with Rev. Stanley Walker, pastor of the Falls City Free Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Montgomery cemetery at Pedee. 
Mr. Waterhouse was born on November 20, 1920, at Falls City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Waterhouse. He had lived several years at McTimmonds Valley and from 1935 to 1943 in Fir Grove but returned to Falls City at the latter date. 
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Burbank of route 1, Monmouth, and Mrs. Fred Trueax of route 2, Dallas, his step-father, Ira Sullivan of Falls City; five uncles; one aunt; five nieces and two nephews.
