| OBITUARY: A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tigard for Mary Ann Kongslie, who died Sept. 15 at age 87. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Young's Funeral Home. Mary Ann Welk was born Aug. 13, 1915, in Berwick, N.D. A homemaker, she moved to Portland in 1961. In 1941, she married Arthur; he died in 1990. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth, Ronald and Keith; daughters, Kathleen Froeber, Beatrice Petersen, Marilyn Kongslie, Karen Kauffman, Barbara Kongslie and Rebecca Aversa; brothers, Frederick Welk and Peter Welk; sisters, Agatha Fields, Dorothy Hanley and Beatrice McNab; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
