Leroy Byerley Dies At Albany
Native Son of Polk County; Funeral Held at Airlie.
Airlie -(Enterprise Service)- Leroy Byerley, 71, passed away at the home of his son, Glen, in Albany, February 22, after a long illness. Funeral services were held in the church at Airlie and he was laid to rest in the English cemetery here at Airlie.
Mr. Byerley was born in Polk county and spent his early life near Rickreall. After his marriage to Miss Emily Sebring, he moved to his farm near here where he lived until two years ago when he moved to Albany.
He leaves two sons, Glen and Herbert, both of Albany; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Maud and Belle, and three brothers, Frank, Otis and Eugene. Rev. John Burns officiated.
