DEATH CERTIFICATE:
OBITUARY:
Died, at Monmouth, July 3, 1880, Eddie, infant son of Wm. and M.L. Collins, aged 16 months and 11 days.
Little Eddie had always been a delicate child, and was just beginning to grow plump and rosy, when he unfortunately took the whooping cough, which snapped the thread of his brief life. The little body was laid to rest on the 5th of July in the family burial ground south of the Luckiamute, by the side of his twin brother Freddie, who died when but a few days old. “Of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
